They say it's the simple things in life that matter the most in life. After this years COVID-19 escapades many people have taken a different approach to life and that includes Christmas.
Simple pleasures such as being able to hug your loved ones or visiting Nan or Grandad have been missed and cost nothing. For some a visit to the hairdressers or the beauty salon for for some well earned pampering or relaxation has been really missed. We have all come to realise what we need in our life.
We know it's probably going to go on for a while yet and life has certainly changed for many of us. Not everyone has been able to work, some have had a reduction in hours. It all adds up and the pressure of Christmas is fast approaching.
Christmas isn't always about how much you have spent. A good Christmas present is something that shows you have given thought and it doesn't matter what it costs. It's funny how a £10 at home Manicure in a box can just brighten someones day. It's quirky and it's different and it's a COVID-19 secure pamper for someone who has to self-isolate.
Alternatively, a box of 5 relaxing Spacemasks at £15 is the perfect a teachers present. Split the box and wrap it in home made paper for a 15 minutes of escape and relaxation for teacher, the crossing warden, the favourite dinner lady, one for you, little one and Nana and chill. Lets face it they are all probably going to need it at the end of term after all that excitement!
And finally on our little list of favourite pressies that cost little and mean a lot are Spongelle buffing sponges. These fab little sponges cost from £8.50 and are a dream to use as well as perfect for travel. No slippery soap or dripping shower gel when you have Spongelle the answer to the 2modern day soap on a rope. Who knows we may just get our holidays next year but can it be kept that long because we know the smell is delicious and irresistible they will have to use it immediately.
So don't feel you need to suffer the pressure this Christmas. Small things mean a lot and probably more than you realise.

Are you struggling with problem skin or even dry skin caused by your face mask Knowing what causes it is key to understanding how to treat it and what to use.
"Maskne" is basically a new form of acne caused by wearing a mask. It is caused by trapped air from your breathing in a mask getting trapped in the mask.
